Did you watch the solar eclipse today? We didn’t go out of our way to see it, but we did step out onto the porch to watch it. We were only 93% eclipsed here, but it was still pretty cool and I’m glad we got to see it with our neighbors. It was the first of my lifetime in the Pacific Northwest and I wasn’t exactly sure what the expect. It didn’t get nearly as dark as I thought it would get, but it was still pretty spectacular.
It’s now been three years of blueberry picking and pie contests with our fun-loving neighbors*, and to celebrate we headed off to Mountainview Blueberry Farm in Snohomish, WA. This is my matching girls in one of my absolute favorite matching outfits they have ever owned. This was the second matching outfit set I ever bought them during a Gymboree campaign, and it's admittedly getting a little small for both, but we love it so much that we just can't retire it yet. 
My little matching girls wear these cute little dresses from Hanna Andersson at least a few times a month. So much so that they are one of the very few items that both girls have taken turns staining. I could freak out and start some serious stain removal, but honestly, it will probably get stained as soon as I get out the old marks.
It's hard to see in pictures, but my little one has the most beautiful strawberry blonde hair. My oldest and I would love to be redheads {sadly, my red isn't au natural… I only have reddish tones in my hair}, so this spring we decided to dye our hair together. 
Sisters are special to me. As someone with 3 sisters of my own that I've always been close with, I always wanted girls of my own one day. So, these two? They are a dream come true. 
The love these two share is immeasurable, and I love watching them explore and play together everywhere we go. My oldest loves being able to teach her sister all about the world around her, and my youngest adores everything about her sister. These two are already such great friends.
