Get ready to rock back to school with Gymboree

I’m currently in denial that back to school is right around the corner. We had so many plans this summer and it feels like the entire two months just blew past in a blur of travel, lazy summer days, and play dates. I feel like I’ve now got a deadline looming that I might just miss completely at this point and just can’t get into back to school mode. Sure, I’m excited to get back into our school year routine and rock the new school year, but I just wish I had another 3 weeks or so before I had to send them off.Thank goodness Gymboree is a whole lot more ready than I am. They had literally every single clothing and gear item on my list and it took just a few minutes on the Gymboree site and I felt like I had already rocked back to school shopping.

In no time I picked out this adorable outfit for my girls with mixing and matching in mind. My oldest squealed when she saw the peplum tunic I picked out and I knew right away that it was going to get a whole lot of wear.

Then I found these cute little star jeggings to go with them, and you would have thought that my daughter had won a thousand dollars when she tried them on for the first time. She exclusively wears jeggings instead of jeans in the winter and it is so hard to find jeggings for her that fit her comfortably, so this was a huge, huge win. And that embroidery? That was her dream come true.
The great thing is that these jeggings will go perfectly with all of Gymboree’s mix and match separates, and when paired with a pink sparkle cardigan it can get some serious mileage all school year.

I’m so grateful that Gymboree carries all the styles that my daughter loves that are the envy of her friends without having to move up to the dreaded teeny-bopper stores.

I am definitely not looking forward to the clothing lines with all the sassy t-shirts and too-short skirts that you find in those stores and would much rather spend our money at Gymboree where I know the quality is awesome and the clothing won’t go out of style in just months. Gymboree is that perfect mix of age appropriate clothing with cool and current styles and I’m so thankful we are still very much in that stage. 
My little one may not be going back to school yet, but she’s now ready for our walks to and from school and dressed for active play the rest of the day while her people are in school. The fact that the girls match every day makes things so much more fun for her because it means she’s excited for back to school… which is more than I can say for the rest of us.Of course, my little man had to get ready for school, too, so I had fun picking him out a cute striped shirt and Gymboree’s Every Wear Pant in burgundy that is perfect for fall and beyond in the Pacific Northwest.

I love a good, classic striped shirt and this hoodie is going to be great for school as well as all of our fall and winter photo shoots. I might be a bit biased, but those dimples, freckles, and super long lashes get me every single time. Dress him in a classic shirt and some colored pants and I’m smitten.

This was our first time checking out Gymboree’s Every Wear pants and we are now big fans. They have this super soft lining that will keep my boy comfortable and warm during the colder months, but they aren’t too warm for our typical fall weather. I love that they have a real drawstring because my kids are all thin and this makes it so I can cinch them down to size. Cinched down tight these fit him like a dream and will be so awesome when the weather starts to turn.
Then I found him the coolest pair of high top sneakers that will be perfect for everyday wear as well as dressier events. He’s never had high tops before and I was apprehensive at first, but he keeps on raving about how much he loves them, so now we’re all happy.

Just look at how dapper he looks in clothing that is surprisingly comfortable and made for play. That’s pretty much the biggest win you can find in boy’s clothing, and I feel like we hit the jackpot with these to head back to school in.

I might not have all of our #2 pencils and glue sticks, but as for back to school clothing, we’re done. Mix and match shopping is basically my favorite thing because it adds new life to old clothing and makes it super easy to change up a few basics. All it took was one stop shopping at one of our very favorite stores and we scored all of these adorable items to last us all year.

Are you looking for matching clothing? As always, a good portion of the store coordinates, even in boys and girls and into the toddler sizes, which of course my kids adore. It may not make me look forward to back to school, but I love knowing that when they are excited about their clothes and they can mix and match on their own. It definitely eases a little tension on those rushed mornings before school, which makes us all really happy.
