Mindfulness presents

1. Chirpwood Paint by Shadows art kits

Love the idea of gifting some therapeutic painting, but not sure how artistic your recipient is? If so, Paint by Shadows® art kits from Chirpwood are the perfect solution. In case you’re wondering, this is not a cheesy paint-by-number kit that looks like garbage until you paint it. Shadow Painting just looks like a cool black and white canvas print until you add whatever color you’d like.

Paint directly on the canvas “shadow” image using a guide image for inspiration. Whether you want to learn to paint with acrylics or just want to turn your brain off for a while, Shadow kits are one of the best mindfulness gifts out there. When you’ve finished your masterpiece, Chirpwood makes beautiful handcrafted traditional and patented TwoStick Frames out of native Oak and Pine.

2. Mindfulness journal/Grateful journal

The first week into the Pandemic, I decided to start grateful journals as a family. It was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made over the past year. This goes for the kids as well as for myself. They have since become some of our most favorite things we own, as I love reflecting on their gratitude and reading how much they care for each other, their family, and their friends.

Another bonus: starting a few days a week with a grateful entry seems to make a big difference in how I feel, and how the kids react to things that are big and hard. Honestly, this past year was hard for our whole family. Harder than I ever anticipated. We lost so many loved ones, and my heart aches for all the hugs we missed, and now will forever miss. Choosing to be grateful for those that we still have with us, and the good things has made this really hard year bearable.

After some urging by my friend, Manjeet, I started a mindfulness journal this year as well. It feels cathartic to write in it, and I love having this time set to take care of myself. Pretty much anything can be a grateful/mindfulness journal, you don’t need anything fancy. But, I’d advise you to get some journals you love because you will definitely want to keep yours {and your kids’} journals forever.

3. BrainTap headset and meditation app

Mindfulness isn’t something that’s always come easy to me. In fact, I’ve struggled with it my whole life. This year, I decided to take meditation seriously and I tried a bunch of meditation apps trying to find one that fit. I was beginning to think it wasn’t for me and then I found BrainTap, and I realized that I had just needed to find the right one. BrainTap’s neuro-algorithm produces brainwave entrainment — the synchronization of brainwaves to a specialized sound — with no user effort. The result is full-spectrum brainwave activity, even for someone like me that is just starting out.

I was already hooked on the BrainTap guided meditations and visualizations and then I checked out the BrainTap Headset that brings a whole new dimension to meditating. They call them braintapping sessions, and they work by adding the restorative power of light frequency therapy. The BrainTap Headset delivers gentle light pulses that travel through the ear meridians and the retina, sending direct signals to the brain and guiding you into deeper brain states that would otherwise take years of disciplined effort to achieve.

The goal is that through listening to the varied frequencies and holographic music in BrainTap’s audio programs, you can reboot your brain to a healthy, balanced state of relaxation and revitalization. I’ll admit I’m new to this all – not just the idea of light therapy, but also meditations themselves. But, what I’ve experienced in the past few weeks using the BrainTap app and the meditations has been amazing.

I love being able to pick from a huge list of wellness tracts {42, currently} and then from there, follow along through the dozens of sessions for each category. I haven’t even made it through one full wellness tract yet, and I’ve been listening to one or two every single day since the beginning of November. In terms of a wellness gift, this is the pinnacle present. I can’t think of anything else you could find under the tree that offers these types of benefits for the mind itself. They call themselves the “Peloton for the mind” and it’s actually rung pretty true for me – it’s an almost addictive high that you have coming off a session, and you can feel the positive effects almost immediately.

Check out the BrainTap app and download it first to try the first few trial sessions with the free version of the app, and then if you love it as much as I do, you can upgrade to the paid version. You can purchase individual wellness tracts for $9.99/mo or purchase their bundle for $29.99 that includes 6 different wellness topics. Then, if you can purchase the headset and take your meditations and visualizations much further than you can with just the audio and utilize all the Pro User content that I adore so much. Be sure to follow BrainTap on social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.

4. Hatch Restore Smart Sleep Assistant

Are you ready for amazing sleep? The Hatch Restore combines a sound machine, sunrise alarm, smart light, meditation app, and an alarm clock into one smart sleep assistant that can help with falling asleep, staying asleep, and then helping you wake up naturally. It truly is the all-in-one sleep solution you’ve been looking for.

The Hatch Restore works by helping you create a smart sleep routine, encouraging you to wind down, sleep through the night, and then wake refreshed. It has meditations and sleep stories to calm your mind, relaxing sounds and white noise to drown out distractions, and then a sunrise alarm to help wake you gently each morning. I love that it also has a soft-glow reading light {without blue light hues that keep you awake} and a digital clock display that dims as you sleep. There’s an expandable library of sleep content with the Hatch Sleep Membership, and it can all be controlled easily through the Hatch app.

To buy the Hatch Restore, you can purchase right off their website {currently on sale for the holidays}. Be sure and follow them on social media: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

If you’re looking to gift an all-around everything moisturizer, Loloma Coconut Oil is the perfect choice. Loloma Coconut Oil is derived from a specific breed of coconuts, Fijian Talls, which are specific only to Fiji. These coconuts are sourced from the precious and pristine 100-year-old plantations where the air is crisp, clean sea breezes flow through, and beautiful sunshine is abundant.

Loloma also has many uses and beauty benefits and can be used as a shower moisturizer, as hair conditioner, as a makeup remover, as a facial moisturizer, and to repair cracked heels and skin. They carefully remove all impurities to reduce the smell to a light fragrance, which makes it the best coconut oil for all-over care. 8. Einova Qi charger and sanitizer

Have you been looking for the perfect Qi charger for someone on your list? How about one that does more than just charge a phone, tablet, or accessories? If so, look no further than the Einova Mundus Pro. This is one of our most heavily used household tools this year, as it doubles as a charger and a sanitizer for all our many masks, tech accessories, and more.

The Mundus Pro not only offers two Qi chargers on its lid, but also a 18W USB-A Quick Charge port for anything not Qi-enabled. Or in my case, Qi-enabled devices that have a protective case that prevents Qi connection. It’s so easy to pop your phone on the Einova Mundus Pro and not have to worry about cords at all, just simply set it down and watch it charge up.

But, my favorite feature of the Mundud Pro is the sanitizing tool that can keep all your tech {and non-tech} items clean and germ-free. One fast 8-minute cycle eliminates 99.998% of viruses and bacteria with 4 layers of microbe killing protection, which makes it ideal for anything that can’t be scrubbed, thrown in the wash, or sprayed. With the kiddos back in school, we utilize our Mundus Pro for approximately two hours every single day, no joke. Between masks, filters, tech, and more, our Einova gets quite the workout every workday.

9. Three Peaks Manuka Honey

Have you been curious about manuka honey and the benefits? Manuka Honey contains over 200 compounds not found in other honeys and is valued for its healing health and wellness properties. Three Peaks is a premium UMF certified Manuka Honey from the central plateau of New Zealand. They have over 14,000 hives and have a completely transparent supply chain that goes straight from their own beehives to their extracting facility, then to jar. Three Peaks Manuka Honey then goes further and has all of their honey UMF certified with independent third-party tests for the “unique manuka factor” to ensure purity and quality standards.

Three Peaks Manuka Honey can be used to: support the respiratory system and ease coughs and colds, promote digestive and gastrointestinal health, act as an anti-inflammatory agent, improve dental health, feel full of energy, and help skin health and healing. You can eat it straight out of the jar on it own, dissolve it into hot drinks, use it to replace refined sugar or on desserts, and even drizzle it over your morning smoothie, fruit, yogurt or granola.

The UMF rating on each pack represents the proportion of unique signature compounds characterizing Manuka Honey that are present in each batch. In particular, the medicinal trilogy of Leptosperin, dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and Methylglyoxal (MGO) help make up the UMF rating. The higher the UMF rating, the higher concentration of the all the good stuff, and it is often even medical grade. Available in a UMF scale ranging from 5+ to 20+ in a variety of jar and single serve sizes, Three Peaks Honey is ideal for daily use for overall health and wellness.

You can buy Three Peaks Manuka Honey on Amazon. Be sure and follow Three Peaks on Instagram.

10. Airfree Air Purifier

What makes AirFree different than other air purifiers is that it uses heat to eliminate allergens and other harmful microorganisms, instead of just filtering it. That means that there are no negative byproducts, like ozone, generated in the filtration process.

Airfree’s exclusive technology works by eliminating microorganisms and allergens, destroying them in a fraction of a second. Depending on the model, between 14,000 and 20,000 litres of air pass through the Airfree device every hour, treating all the air in the room in a very short space of time.

The process works in much the same way as sterilizing water by boiling it. When water is boiled, the microorganisms it contains are eliminated. In similar fashion, Airfree continually draws in air from the room, heating it to over 400 ºF and instantly sterilizing it. The purified air is then cooled inside the device before being returned to the room.

You can purchase your own AirFree Air Purifier on the AirFree site. Be sure and follow them on social media: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
