Adventure approved gear for little travelers from Wildkin

Sponsored post Wildkin off to see the worldIt’s a big day in our house – our oldest has made the transition from kid suitcase to real-deal “luggage”. This has been on my list to do for years now as her tiny going to grandma’s style suitcase has proven to be too tiny for all her clothing and gear as well as accommodating her natural ability to collect treasures wherever we go.

Her beat up old suitcase has been all over the world with us, but it was time to retire it for something that can hold more than a few changes of clothing and a book. Ideally the replacement would be wheeled so she wasn’t stuck carrying it across airports, colorful and fun so it would be fun to take with us, and it would grow with her so we won’t have to buy yet another suitcase in just a few years.

Our solution? Wildkin bags, backpacks and suitcases that have all the fun designs I love while still being uber practical and easy to travel with. Wildkin portrait

We fell in love with the Wildkin rolling duffel in Pinwheel pattern as we knew it would be something she could use for years to come. Not only is it a design that is fun but not too young, it is also outfitted with durable 600-denier polyester and a moisture-resistance nylon lining paired with a durable frame, so it is built to handle all that kids {and airlines} can throw at it.

While my heart sinks a bit when I see just how grown up my little girl looks wheeling around her Wildkin rolling duffel, I love knowing how happy she is with her first real luggage. Traveling with kids can sometimes be exhausting, especially when you end of having to cart around all your stuff as well as all your little darlings’ gear. For this reason I love that her excitement over her Wildkin duffel has made all of our spring and summer trips easier as she actually begs to handle her own luggage. Wildkin suitcaseWhereas she can’t quite handle our large suitcases when filled with all of our travel necessities, she handles the good-sized {22in x 12.5in x 10.5in} Wildkin rolling duffel with ease. Super light-weight even when full of clothing and toys, and well balanced so it doesn’t become unmanageable, it is perfect for our little traveler. The smooth rolling inline skate wheels make it easy for her to maneuver around objects and are much better quality than the typical child suitcases.

If there was ever a place that she couldn’t roll the luggage or she would just prefer to carry it, I love that she can unzip the zipper at the top of the bag and slide the handle inside so it disappears. The suitcase then becomes a duffel that is perfect for overnights and road trips. Wildkin hidden handleIf you are looking for the perfect bag for your little traveler that is perfect for planes, trains, and automobiles, look no further than Wildkin. Not only do they have this amazing rolling duffel, they also have backpacks and lunch sacks for early back to school prep, as well as other bags, traditional duffels, accessories, and even bedding. Wildkin while travelingYou don't even have to be a kid to fall in love with Wildkin. In fact, I have quite a few patterns I would love to travel with myself. They are fun and lively, and there would be zero chance of misplacing my luggage or having someone wander off with my bag. That sounds like a huge improvement over my boring black bag.
Leanne SignatureA big thank you to Wildkin for sending their rolling duffel for our many adventures. As always, all opinions are 100% ours.
