This scene? This is how my living room looks 90% of the day. 
And, I love it.
Notice the big cars in the ottoman "garage" and the little cars obeying some sort of traffic law that requires them to follow each other far too close for my liking? That's all this little guy's doing. 
Once he designated the lines of the carpets as his "roads", it was all over and this was immediately declared as his space.Thankfully, he shares this space with us at night, but during the day, it's his domain. 
Disney's Cars diecasts, Bruder fork lift, Lego characters, and a selection of knock-off Tonka trucks we've found secondhand.

Tamesa, we got the rug on clearance at potterybarn years before we had kids, but now that I have a little car fanatic I love it even more! I don’t think I’ll even be able to part with the rug – too many memories like this to ever get rid of it!
My son is obsessed with cars these days… My living room looks just like that too! The furniture is often used for the cars 🙂
