This post has been sponsored by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Do you ever just watch your kids playing, snacking, and interacting with other kids and mentally plan out how you’re going to deal with whatever sickness they bring home from it? No? Okay, maybe it’s just me. But with three kids ranging from 2-9 years old, sometimes it feels like no sickness ever passes our family by.
Maybe it’s all the independent schedules, the hands-on interaction with other kids, or maybe it’s the fact that my little one likes to employ the “5 second rule”, but whatever the reason, we deal with more than our fair share of illness. This basically means that cold and flu season is a constant struggle to stay healthy, and to minimize any illness that hits home. This year has been especially bad and it’s just the beginning of the season!
This means we’re doing lots and lots of hand washing, sanitizing gel whenever it’s not available, and teaching the kids how germs spread by watching some {admittedly pretty creepy} youtube videos about how germs spread.
But, if the worst does happen and the kids do come down with whatever sickness is going around? We are practicing good sickness etiquette by staying home, utilizing the “vampire cough”, and generally not sharing our germs. And, of course we are stocking up on Pfizer Consumer Healthcare products to have on hand. They have three solutions that are perfect for when sick gets real: Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin® and Children’s Dimetapp®.
Children’s Advil® eases aches and pains, while reducing a child’s fever fast for kids as young as 2 and up to 11. Children’s Advil® comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. There’s also Infants’ Advil® White Grape, which provides fever relief with a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.*
Children’s Robitussin® DM Day/Night Pack {Children’s Robitussin® Cough & Chest Congestion for ages 4+ and Children’s Robitussin® Nighttime Cough for ages 6+} has a non-drowsy daytime formula helps break up chest congestion, while the long-acting nighttime formula relieves coughs and runny noses to help kids get the rest they need.
Children’s Dimetapp® Cold & Cough has a great-tasting grape flavor for children ages 6 and up and tackles bothersome stuffy and runny noses while working to relieve cough. Nothing is harder as a parent than watching your kids struggle with an illness, and I love that I can plan ahead and keep what we need in stock to make kids feel better and get back to being the fun and crazy kids that they are. You can find out more at SickJustGotReal.com or by visiting the Sick Just Got Real Facebook page.
*It is important to remember to always read and keep the cartons for complete warnings and dosing information on Pfizer Pediatric products and to use as directed
We use all three products, they are great!!
We always purchase a new bottle of our Pfizer products in the fall.
