Summer days are the best. We have little to no schedule, we spend most of our time outdoors, and friends to hang out with are always a few minutes away. This year has been the summer of playdates and it seems like I always have a few extra kids at my house running around and having fun with my kiddos.
I love it.
I love that my kiddos will have memories of summer that includes impromptu water balloon fights, digging in the yard for hours, laughing until their sides hurt, riding bikes all day long, crafting until they can’t sit still anymore, muddy feet that almost always need washing, reading until the sun goes down, and creating their own fun. And, I get to be there for all of it.

I swear I’ll just sit down to work after fixing the toddler a snack and the older kids will wander through asking if there’s anything to eat. So, I got smart and stocked the fridge and pantry with fresh fruits, veggies, and other easy-to-grab snacks that the kids can snack on at home and are easy to take on playdates.

I like to eat Little Bites as a mid-afternoon snack when I am craving something a little sweet.
