Treat yourself to a steak dinner at Applebee’s for under $10

Sponsored postAt some point in the past few years, we just stopped going out to eat. Three kids, one income, and busy schedules have us running from event to event so it became hard to do relaxing dinners out. As a result, I became queen of the quick and easy weeknight dinner that could have us out of the house and on the go. So, really, eating out at all is a huge treat.

But, a steak dinner out? It must be my anniversabirthday. Applebees outsideApplebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar doesn’t think that a nice steak dinner at a restaurant should be a once-a-year event and are giving you a chance to enjoy a well-deserved steak at an awesome price – no special occasion required. From now until November 13th, customers can enjoy Applebee’s famed wood-fired USDA Choice Top Sirloin steak and two delectable sides, all for just $9.99. Applebees wood fired

After a long day taking pictures at the pumpkin patch in Snohomish, WA, we headed to Applebee’s on 134th Place SE, just off of Seattle Hill Road in Everett before we made the drive home. It had been a full day of corn mazes, chasing kids around the patch, and stomping through the mud, so we were all ready to sit down and enjoy a delicious meal out, and Applebee’s fit the bill perfectly. Applebees self portraitSome people may think we're crazy for taking the whole family out for our steak dinner, but that's kind of the point. Any day can be steak-worthy, even if it does involve worn-out and starving kids. If by chance yours are too tired, you can spring for the at-table entertainment and give them the Applebee's ordering tablet to play games on for $1.99.

To kick off our steak meal, we started with my favorite drink from anywhere, ever: the Applebee's Perfect Margarita. It had been years since I last had one, and it was just as amazing as I remembered.  Maybe even better. Applebees perfect margaritaWe both decided to order the USDA Choice Top Sirloin steaks to try out the $9.99 deal. I got the 6oz with garlic mashed potatoes and garlicky green beans. Since we never go out, we agreed. Just this once. Applebees dessert Applebees dessert 2
Now at Applebee’s, quality steak isn’t just reserved for special occasions. Got through the day? Steak dinner earned. Had a rough week at work? Steak dinner earned. Finished your homework? Steak dinner. Got through conference week? Yep, you get a steak dinner, too. You need to hurry because this deal only lasts a few more weeks, so be sure to head in to a participating restaurant near you and check it out before it’s gone.

  1. We are full-time RVers, so a nice dinner out is a great treat. We always get good service and good food at Applebee’s. The new steak dinner also looks like a home-cooked dinner but at a reasonable price.

  2. My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and we didn’t get a chance to celebrate it because of Hurricane Matthew. We had no power for days and didn’t feel much like celebrating. It would be great to win this so I can celebrate my birthday belatedly. Thanks for the chance.

  5. I deserve a steak dinner because
I work a part time job
    Raising 4 kids
    I have a thyroid condition
I help my neighbors and family when I can
With all of that it is hard to find time for just me and my husband and dinner out would be a great start to a date night with him.
    Thanks

  10. My husband and I deserve a steak dinner because on June 3rd I was hospitalized for preterm labor, so he was on his own with our four year old until June 27th, when our son was born. Our son spent 62 days in the NICU and in that time our house completely flooded and we had to move. We haven’t been on a date since before I got pregnant, and with two kids and all the craziness of life we definitely have earned a steak!

  20. I’ve had a heck of a year at work. Roadblocks galore. Just had to fire someone I hired less than a year ago for breaking the law. That same person lives in a house I own. Had to evict her too. UGH! I think I need the margarita more than the steak!

  23. This is hard, I was reading some of the comments and they are so many people that deserve steak. Its hard sometimes to find time and a reason to go out to dinner alone with my husband. Life is just hard sometimes and steak makes it a little bit better.

  24. I just finished a crazy week of transporting my daughter and helping in her jr high school play. Dress rehearsal was on my birthday and then for the rest of the week and all weekend she had to be at school until almost 9pm and she gets up at 5:45 to be on the school bus at 6:45. It was a long but very fun week.

  25. I think I deserve a steak dinner because I just got out of the hospital after five weeks of around the clock IV antibiotics. I am diabetic and somehow manged to get the bones in my left foot infected. The doctor first told me that I was to act as if I didn’t even have a left foot for three months. After a couple of weeks it became apparent that I would have to go into the hospital for antibiotic treatment. I spent five weeks in there. After getting out, I spent the rest of four months in a wheelchair off of my foot. A week and a half ago my doctor released me. I could have lost toes or even part of my foot. Not only was this time stressful, it taught me a few lessons as well. I thank God daily that I still have my foot and that I am now able to walk on my own.

  28. I would love a steak dinner because my oldest daughter joined a travel softball team this year. Almost every weekend we are stuck for hours upon hours at the ball field eating stale nachos, petrified mystery meat hot dogs, hamburgers that taste similar to how my daughter’s cleats smell, or convenience foods like sandwiches that we have brought ourselves, and, believe me, that food gets boring really quick. We have devoted almost all of our spare time to her ball addiction; we spend a minimum of 5 days per week doing practices, pitching lessons, and games. A steak dinner would be a wonderful reward the whole family could enjoy. And it would come on a plate instead of in a little plastic container or on a paper napkin or a greasy sheet of aluminum foil! What a change for us!

  29. My husband and I deserve a peaceful steak dinner because we were just blessed with our 13th grandchild and found out the 14th is on the way. We are loving every minute of it but we deserve a steak because we haven’t started Christmas shopping yet. OMG!

  30. I deserve a steak dinner or any real dinner for that matter. I am a single parent to 3 kids and my youngest left for college last August. I have not made a dinner since she left. I have no kids to have to cook for. I am not even sure that I could cook for just one but I am getting tired of sandwiches and cocoa krispies for dinner every night and I think my body needs some protein and a nice thick juicy steak, that I still don’t have to cook, would do the trick.
