Our blogging community has seen more than our share of tragedies in the past few years, but none have hit me as hard as hearing that my friend Tiffany’s husband, Sean, passed away unexpectedly this past weekend after complications from a liver biopsy. 
He underwent two emergency surgeries and I was clinging to my phone the whole time hoping for good news. When I read that Sean had passed away, my heart broke for her and for their entire family. He was just 35 years old and so full of life. Tiffany is now making all of his arrangements, as well as now becoming a single mom to their two young children.
When I started this blog almost 8 years ago, I never anticipated the friendships I would gain along my journey. Many of these friends are acquaintances that live on the computer in emails, tweets, and blog campaign groups, but some become as close as friends that I’ve grown up with. These are the bloggers I’ve known since I started, I met at parties, I’ve traveled to different countries with, or simply that I chat with on an almost daily basis like anyone else I see in person.
Tiffany of Fabulous Mom Blog is one of those bloggers. We formally met in 2012 in a small bloggers group of 11 called The Noise Girls that was designed to support each other and bounce ideas off of as we took our blogs to the next level. Our small group quickly became the place where we would discuss our days, share helpful tips, and celebrate each others’ successes like they were our own. Within months of knowing Tiffany, she sent me a Spa.com gift certificate for Mother’s Day so I could get a much needed color and cut. That’s the kind of person she is.
And, now she needs our help.
The Cruz Family GoFundMe page is created in honor of Sean’s memory, in hopes to continue to support Tiffany and the children during this incredibly difficult time. Since Sean was the primary breadwinner and Tiffany is a stay at home mom, she will need support to pay for his funeral as well as the day to day expenses. No amount is too small, and anything will help.
