2015 was a great year all around. Not just for the fact that I finally made that fireplace mantle I'd promised my wife years ago, or our amazing trips together up and down the West Coast as well as our big trip to the Caribbean and then over to Georgia. No, what made this year truly amazing was that we not only added our third {and likely final member} to our little family, and we also made huge strides towards getting healthy, together.
As you get older you really start to feel your age more. As I've become much more aware of the fact that I'm no longer in my twenties, I've found myself needing to pay a little more attention to personal upkeep. This is where Jenny Craig came in.
You may remember that my wife and I did the Jenny Craig program together in late summer/early fall. But, what you may not know is that after finishing our review period with Jenny Craig, we decided to stick with it a little longer since we were both having such great success in the program.
This extra time gave us the opportunity to transition smoother back into making our own meals, making healthy choices while eating out, and it gave us more time with our awesome consultants to really fine tune our progress and find out what works best for us.

I've now reached my initial goal weight and am down 40 pounds total, but I think I'm going to try for 5 more. It's so amazing being back to where I'm happy to step on to the scale, as well as being able to go down a few sizes and back into my favorite clothing. Not to mention that I have much better energy, and just feel better in general. People ask me all the time about how Jenny Craig worked for me, and I'm happy to tell them how much I really loved the program. I couldn't be any happier with my experience with my consultants, with the Jenny Craig foods, and now transitioning off the program and I recommend it to others in a similar situation who are tired of seeing the pounds tack on each year.
