101 Dalmatians Diamond Edition arrives on DVD and Blu-ray combo pack today

by Leanne

Sponsored post101 Dalmatians, one of the most beloved movies of my childhood is arriving for the first time on Digital HD, Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, Disney Movies Anywhere and On-Demand and I couldn't be happier. I've been waiting to share the film with my family for years and have been counting down the days until we could enjoy a family movie night with Pongo, Perdita, and their adorable puppies.

When my firefighter-obsessed son first spied the 101 Dalmatians DVD and Blu-ray combo pack that arrived last week, he immediately declared that he wanted to watch the "fire dog movie". While I made sure to tell him there was no fire theme to the movie, I knew he wouldn't be upset once he saw the film and got to see the adorable puppies on the screen.  101 Dalmatians

As I predicted, there was no mention of fire once the kids got caught up in the excitement of brand new puppies, of the evil Cruella De Vil, and of dognapping. Seeing my son genuinely nervous for the little puppies and scared of what Cruella and her gang might do if the dogs plan to get them back didn't work was priceless and it reminded me again what a great movie it is.

If you loved Disney’s 101 Dalmatians as much as I did growing up, you are definitely going to want to run out and pick up a copy of the Diamond Edition today to share with your family again and again. Besides the classic film, there are also some great new bonus features that any fan would love including:

All New Short – The Further Adventures of Thunderbolt * Walt Disney Presents “The Best Doggoned Dog in the World” (1961 Version) * Lucky Dogs * DisneyView * Dalmatians 101: Hosted by Cameron Boyce (Disney Channel’s “The Descendants”) * Plus a Selection of Classic Bonus Features
