The Robbie Reversible Bag has soft, vegetable-tanned leather and comes in three sizes {small, medium and large}. We got to check out the Robbie, the smallest of the Daneault reversible bag line. This new compact purse offers the same versatility and craftsmanship of their other reversible line without compromising on style or functionality. Just like the large and medium, the small Robbie flips between two color combinations – one purse, two looks.
This adorable purse is crafted from premium, eco-conscious leather that develops a rich patina over time. It has eye catching premium finishes as well as durable hardware and clasps with a detachable, adjustable strap. At 6.25″w x 7.0″d x 3.0″h, this structured bag is small enough to wear as a crossbody all day long, but it fits a surprising amount of necessities inside for your days out. It is functional yet beautiful, and you will want to carry it every day.
The Robbie Reversible Bag is cute on the website but it looks even more luxurious in person. The colors are beautiful, the small size is perfect for an evening bag as well as a daily carry, and it feels like a premium handbag. You can see and feel the quality immediately in its design, hardware, and stitching, and it’s unique enough that you are sure to get compliments on it – and even more so when people hear that it is also reversible.
How to customize the Robbie Reversible Bag
Switching up the Robbie Reversible Bag is incredibly intuitive. You simply fold the magnetic top of the shell over the top of the base, snap the sides together and then use the strong magnets hold the shell in place. In mere moments you can have a whole new handbag look without having the hassle of transferring everything from purse to purse.
It literally takes seconds to switch from one look to another because the shells attach easily with super strong magnets. These are the same super strong magnets that keep your purse closed and the contents from spilling out once the shells are in place. Even better is that Daneault makes it easy to make the switch and update your bag without having to move everything from one purse to the next. I am notorious for forgetting something essential when I transfer bags, so I love that the Daneault makes this switch effortless.
The straps of the Robbie Reversible Bag are dual-toned as well so you can choose which side shows as you wear it. You can adjust the strap so you can wear the purse as a crossbody, or you can tighten it up and wear it on one shoulder. Since the straps are completely removable, you can also add your own decorative strap if you’d like for evening or formal wear.
If I could add one thing to the Robbie Reversible Bag it would be internal pockets or pouches. Yes, I know that I can buy a purse organizer to help keep small items accounted for, but it would be nice to have a small amount of organization built in. If they really wanted to blow my mind? They would put a small key ring inside the purse to clip things to so keys would never fall out and wallets could be securely fastened.
