If you know me, you know that I adore potatoes. Once cooked, twice cooked, or I’ll even take them three times cooked. If it’s a potato, I’m a fan.

A hearty meal in minutes with Idahoan® Mashed Potatoes

To complement our Idahoan potatoes, I served up some homemade garlic toast that goes well with just about any meal, but it especially shines with potatoes. I have found the trick to the best buttery garlic toast is combining the butter with crushed garlic and then spreading on the bread. Then, I sprinkle a little onion and garlic table blend on the top and pop it in the oven for a few minutes on broil. Perfection, every single time. Served with the Idahoan Mashed Potatoes, and some amazing melt-in-your-mouth sous vide {the asparagus and the steak}, my hands-on dinner time was mere minutes and the result is awesomely delicious. It may take a little longer to sous vide the main course, but I can let it go all afternoon and not even think about it until dinner time. Then, dinner is literally as easy as boiling water for the potatoes and then popping the garlic toast into the oven for a few minutes. I can get us sitting down to dinner within 10 minutes of the first “I’m hungry”, which I’m going to call a big huge win.
