Can you believe Christmas is less than a week away? It seemed like I had things under control and then late last week I checked I still had a dozen of presents left to buy and the days were flying by. Instead of stressing out, I decided to take an afternoon off and head up to Seattle Premium Outlets in Tulalip, WA for a day of shopping, meeting up with friends, and ultimately, crossing off my list once and for all. Baby and I set off on an epic shopping trip that started with meeting up for coffee with a long-lost friend, and then ended with her falling asleep clutching an empty Coach shopping bag, a Tigger bracelet, a handful of stickers, and a notebook – all of which were given to her on our shopping trip for being such a delight. We stopped by guest services where we were greeted with beautiful holiday decorations on the fireplaces flanking the food court. This is where you can pick up mall gift cards as well as shop their huge selection of restaurant, store, and experience gift cards at the gift card kiosk.
After that, we headed out and got hubby a few things at Timberland. Baby was very popular while shopping for socks, and although she didn't score the deal for me, she did help me pick out socks for her siblings, her dad and I at crazy low prices that were less than 75% off retail. We already had one present down and a bag filled with stocking stuffers, so we headed to the kids' area that has all the stores we buy our girls' clothing from. You know all those matching clothing they wear that gets so much attention everywhere we go? Almost all of it is from the section of the Premium Outlets that houses Carter's, Oshkosh, Hanna, Gymboree, and J Crew Kids all within one mall corridor.
We found a few matching outfits for the girls during our trip, and we even ended up finding a replacement coat for the matching Oshkosh coat that my daughter accidentally left in Boston this fall. My matching girls will be in full force come 2017, thanks to Seattle Premium Outlets, Carter's and Oshkosh. We also stopped into Hanna and found some PJs for me and the babe that are going to be the perfect holiday jammies for this year's annual PJ picture on Christmas morning. Although I knew that Hanna had adult clothing, it never even dawned on me to try them out until the helpful clerks guided me towards the pajama pants. Never in my life have I worn such comfortable PJ pants, and I'm now a Hanna believer. I had a lot of women left on my list, so baby and I headed over to the Coach outlet where they were having an awesome pre-holiday sale. As I was checking off my list, baby was busy making friends and falling in love with this awesome Coach bear. She also did some shopping and fell in love with these printed Coach bags that were an additional 20% off. What can I say? The girl has good taste AND she likes a deal! She also helped me try out a Coach bag that I think would be perfect for quite a few women on my list. Not too big, not too small, and perfect for organizing everything so you always know where to find even the tiniest items. She kept everyone smiling in line while we waited to pay and kept saying "whoa" as the woman beside us rang up over 25 Coach purses, wallets, and bags. No one else seemed as shocked as baby and I, and later I was told this is quite common during their pre-holiday sales. Luckily, Coach has a huge stock of awesome items in stock, so there is plenty for everyone and we were able to score some really amazing deals ourselves. Before we left, we took one last picture with the beloved Coach bear. Next, we did some window shopping at the Disney Store, where my daughter insisted we go inside to see all her favorite characters. I get it, baby, I get it.This led to a huge score in which I got my son one of his big presents this year: the Captain America shield. It was under $20, but it's going to be the biggest squeal-inducing present under the tree. After baby got to do all her fun shopping, I treated her to some time in the kids' play area that all of my kids still love. They adore this ice cream truck s
o much, and it's absolutely a given that we will stop and play on it for a bit during each visit. Next, we popped into a few stores for stocking stuffers, including Crabtree and Evelyn, the brand new Toys 'R' Us outlet that opened this year, Fossil, Le Sportsac, Hot Topic, Banana Republic, The Gap, Eddie Bauer, and more. At this point, we were starving so we grabbed a quick bite at the food court and we were back to shopping. After we were fueled up, we checked out Lids for some deals for the teens on our list. The big hit is always Seahawks gear, so we got a few beanies to wrap up for Christmas. We finished our trip at the newer Promenade shops, where we finally checked off the last person on the list. This is normally where we spend quite a bit of time shopping for hubby and I, but since I was mostly done with his presents, we just did a quick tour. It is a great feeling to finally be done, and it's even a better feeling enjoying such a fun girl's day out with my little one. To top off our wonderful day, I got to take home these awesome Seattle Premium Outlets goodies as a special treat. 'Tis the season of giving, but it was really fun receiving, too! If you are in the Seattle area {or you are less than a day's drive}, know that there is still time to get awesome and thoughtful presents for everyone on your list… without all the stress. Most people dread malls these last few weeks of the year, but don't lump Seattle Premium Outlets into that category. Everyone I saw during our trip was smiling and happy, and everyone was marveling over the deals that Seattle Premium Outlets is known for. I hope I’m done shopping. I just need to wrap gifts like a crazy person. Mainly the ones for my kids.
So much fun! We need to get up there together soon!
So cute!
I love this <3
What an awesome shopping center! I wish we had something like this near me
I live in WA so I’ll have to stop by here sometime if I ever find my way in Tulalip! I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that city before so it must be far from me. Anyway, this looks like a great outlet!
