I have only ironed a handful of times in my life, and more than half of them were in HomeEc class. The Magic 1 holds the fabric as you steam, making it an easy one-handed operation with no worries of burns. This was especially important to me when dealing with seams because I could start at the top of the seam with it laying how I like, and it would do the entire run effortlessly.
Side note: should I be steam ironing curtains that are already hanging on the rod? Maybe not. But, that certainly didn’t stop me. And, I’m happy to report that it worked just fine and I would definitely do it again.
Ready to go, in less time
The Magic 1 has an awesome 30-second heat up time and smooths wrinkles just in a single pass to deliver professional results faster and more efficiently than traditional steamers. I love that the clothes are ready to wear right after steaming due to the vacuum suction removing moisture as you go. They claim it can work 3x faster than a traditional steamer, and while I don’t have any data to prove this is true, I believe it could be. It is much faster than my old steamer, which sometimes required large amounts of steam and time to release really harsh creases. And, then it required drying time, which I often didn’t have.
99% Sterilization & Mite Removal
Another bonus of steaming clothing is that high-temperature steam effectively removes bacteria and mites from clothing, achieving a 99.9% sterilization rate. I mean, it won’t fully replace your washing machine or dry cleaning of course, but for freshening up clothes it makes so much sense to have a steamer on hand. And, for my curtains which only get washed once a year, it was nice to clean them up without having to take them all down.
Two Modes for Every Need
