We were super excited to see “Sesame Street: F is for Friends” Pop-Up Tour on Saturday at Alderwood Mall. The event was entirely FREE and open for all from 11am-4pm with 15-minute shows throughout the day. We caught the first one and the kids had a blast. 
My kids fell in love with Sesame Street during our Beaches Turks & Caicos vacation, so seeing them back with old friends was super fun for all of them. I loved all the photo ops, especially the Sesame Street stoop that was a big part of my childhood and now is a big part of theirs as well.
About Sesame Street: F is for Friends
HBO and Sesame Workshop have collaborated to put together a free mall tour inspired by the 48th season of Sesame Street. This immersive, limited-engagement tour includes a 15-minute show starring costumed Elmo and Abby Cadabby characters as well as stories and songs about celebrating similarities and differences between friends. Pre-schoolers and their families will learn that while we may be different from one another, we’re alike in so many ways, too. 
The message behind the event is that it doesn’t matter if you’re a monster, a fairy or a kid, we can all be friends. Play, dance and sing along with Sesame Street……that’s what friends are for! These free shows will repeat throughout the day so you can stop in between 11 – 4 and check it out. Families will also enjoy character meet-and-greets, digital activity stations, photo opportunities that include Cookie Monster’s new food truck, and more.
