Turn that stress into something positive with RESCUE #StressLess2BMyBest

Believe me, I know stress. So, when I got an email asking me to share a peek into my world as a working mom of three young kids and give some tips about how I deal with stress and how RESCUE can help in a sponsored post, I was all about it. Rescueremedy_blogger_FINAL
What kind of stress, you ask?
How about the time my newborn cried every single time I set her down, or the time my coworker was moving clear across the country and I was covering her shift during the move, or the time my beloved camera stopped working in the middle of a shoot and I couldn’t get it to work again, or the time I had stacks of financial, legal, and tax paperwork to go through all on a deadline and was dealing with numerous calls, emails and texts with people asking for the paperwork.

And, all of that I just mentioned? That all happened today while I was trying to get work done and take care of three kids.  But, to make things worse, I couldn’t even ask my husband for help because he was busy working extra shifts and dealing with our rental property that was leaking in three different places because our renters were neglecting it. Of course, there's also days that look more like this. I was literally playing in fields of flowers with my sweet babies.

Honestly, some of this stress isn’t so bad at all. You know that newborn that cried every time I set her down? Well, that meant I got lots of baby snuggles today. My paycheck will be extra big in a few weeks from all the time I’m putting in at work covering for my coworker, and all that paperwork I’m buried in? It will hopefully end up saving us some money in the long run and I will be very glad I took the time to do it. There's almost always a positive that comes from being so stressed, even if that positive is hard to see when you're in the thick of things.

For me, the trick is to take it one thing at a time. Write it all down on a list, even if it’s really simple tasks and cross things off as you go. It is exciting seeing things being checked off, and you will be sure you won’t accidentally miss something because it’s all on the list and will eventually get done.

Quite honestly, I'm more likely to drop the ball on something when I'm less busy and I start to let things slide. When I'm busy I have everything spelled out and I check it numerous times a day so there's less chance of forgetting something. So, even though I have moments of feeling overwhelmed and stressed, I know I’m being efficient and it helps me stay calm and 228299_1032091724419_5724430_ncollected.

When my to-do list is crazy long and I feel like there’s no way I will get anything done, I try and get out and take a walk or do something active. It may seem counter-intuitive, but leaving
my stress behind and getting out to release some energy really works for me because when I return to my to-do list, I’m much more focused and I work better. And, the bonus is that I got a little exercise in with the kiddos since most of my stress comes in sedentary forms that keep me at a desk, feeding a baby, or dealing with paperwork.

But, even I need some help winding down every now and then and have often wished for something to help me relax at the end of the night or on a particularly stressful day. So, when I heard about RESCUE stress relief products that are natural, non-habit forming to help you stress less, you can bet I was on board. A trip to our local natural market produced the RESCUE Remedy drops and I was thrilled to try them out. Bach Rescue RemedyUsing them is simple – you just put a few drops into a glass of water or you can even use them in their non-diluted form.
