Next level crafting with Resiners

A big thank you to my new favorite resin company that sent me some fun resin accessories to review and get me crafting with Resiners.

If young me could see how far art supplies would come in my lifetime, she would be in a constant state of shock. When I was young, my art supplies consisted mostly of items I found in the recycling bin or were otherwise discarded, and I got excited to find plastic that could be used for shrinky dinks or ingredients to make clay. But these days? It’s absolutely mind blowing what we can make right from home and how professional the results are. Thus begins my love letter to resin, and specifically my new resin supplies that got me crafting with Resiners.

If you haven’t heard of Resiners before, you definitely should. Their tagline is “Where Art and Tech Meet” and that’s the perfect description for what they bring to the world of resin crafts. I have dabbled with resin crafts in the past, but nothing prepared me for the professional results that came from using Resiners supplies. In the past, I just grabbed resin from the nearest craft store and added a few supplies, which were almost always limited and typically not as great of quality. I’ve struggled with that discount craft store resin so much that I ended up abandoning so many of my crafts throughout the years. From resin that simply didn’t cure and stayed tacky until I finally just tossed it to resin that yellowed within weeks of finishing my project, I’ve seen some really bad fails.

But, not anymore, now that I’m crafting with Resiners. Discount and big box store resin brands cannot compare to Resiners brand UV resin and accessories. I got to try out the new Resiners G3 2-in-1 Resin Curing Machine, some Resiners UV resin, and Halloween silicone molds, and now I’m forever changed.

What’s so cool about the Resiners 2-in-1 Resin Curing Machine for UV and Epoxy Projects?

As the name suggests, the curing machine is for both UV resin and epoxy. At 11.8×9.8in it’s roughly the size of a double height casserole dish, which gives a whole lot of space for curing and crafting with Resiners. There are two ways to assemble the curing machine – either with the base flipped into a tray or into a platform. This not only accommodates different heights of resin projects up to 13cm tall, but also different types of molds and types of resin. In flat mode with the base like a tray you can get a constant 60°C for even heating and bubble prevention, and in tall mode where the base creates a raised platform you get adaptive heating to prevent yellowing and overheating.

It also has multiple modes and settings for enhanced curing efficiency and has one-touch temperature controls and timers for whatever medium you’re using. It also has upgraded 3D thermal circulation to give you uniform, bubble–free curing. With its built-in silicone mat, it makes resin crafts as mess-free as possible, because any that happens to get on the mat will simply cure with the completed project and then it’s easily picked off and thrown away.

As someone who is pretty experienced with resin, I will tell you that worst part of resin crafts is the curing part and the cleanup. The Resiners 2-in-1 Resin Curing Machine solves both of those and lets you spend more time on the fun part of crafting. Oh, and did I mention it’s also so much safer than traditional UV lights for curing? With handheld UV lights it’s way too easy to accidentally get the UV light in your eyes when someone is holding it or when it’s propped up on a desk.

But, with the semi-transparent lid of the curing machine you can shield your eyes while still allowing you to see the progress of your projects. The heat-resistant silicone handle allows for easy handling, so you don’t need to worry about burns on your workstation. This wasn’t as big of a deal for me because I don’t do a lot of long cure projects, but I did still love how quiet the machine is {＜55dB}, even with all the multiple modes and fans.

Their 250g UV resin comes in a flat bottle body with a pointed mouth design so you can apply it directly into the mold without the need for mixing or additional tools. Under UV light, it cures quickly in just 2-4 minutes. With its low viscosity, it provides a perfect bond for various materials such as glass, crystal, and wood, giving you endless possibilities for making resin crafts that you love. We utilized the Halloween molds to make these adorable spiderweb earrings, and now my daughter has a list of kids at her school that are requesting their own spiderweb dangles.

Want to know a huge bonus? The resin molds actually came with jump rings and earring hooks, so we didn’t even need to run to the store to get any craft supplies whatsoever to make these. That’s my favorite kind of craft kit.

It’s hard to see in pictures with the Resiners glitter, but these have the most beautiful high gloss finish, are delightfully bubble-free, and they honestly look professionally made.
