matching girls
Goodbye, Summer. It’s been a good one.
Sometimes you’re at the park and you notice that it’s perfectly lit in one of the last golden hours of summer. And, of course you must do a 30 second photo shoot to commemorate it. I’m so sad that it’s the end of summer, the end of no schedules, and the end of lazy days doing whatever we want. But, I also know that it’s important to celebrate the fun we had, and embrace this coming school year.
Matching Girls Monday: spring preview in Seattle
We have had a beautiful winter here in Seattle, with so much sun and warmth. I’m so looking forward to spring so we can get out even more and hike and bike with the littles. But, for now, I’m going to just be grateful that this is our winter views. We may be wearing jackets … Read more
Matching Girls Monday: a day at the Seattle zoo
In an extremely rare boy-less day, we got to take these sweet sisters out to the Woodland Park Zoo and let them call the shots. We stayed far longer than I thought we would at the otters, we visited the park we usually skip right by, and we fed the birds that my son isn’t interested in touching. These girls have my heart, and I love that they all adore each other so much. We have a fall tradition where … Read more
Motherhood: a lesson on time and space
I always hoped that my girls would be close. I wished more than anything for a sister for my oldest, and I was so excited when my wish came true. But, in the back of my mind I worried that there was too much space between them. Too many years between them for them to … Read more
Matching Girls Monday: back to school
Do you remember my sneak peek of my girls’ back to school outfits from Gymboree? Well, here’s the complete outfit:I admit that I fell in love with these boots first and then built the rest of the outfit around them because I love them that much. My daughter has worn Gymboree boots every year that … Read more
