This is the first year I will have both kids in school {even if it’s just a few hours a week}, and quite honestly I’m a bit teary eyed about it. But, I know it’s so good for both kids to be with kids their own age and learn with their peers that it’s hard to be too sad about it. For that reason, I’m saying TGIBTS {Thank Goodness It’s Back to School}. Fruit of the Loom school suppliesOne of the things I’m most excited about is the fact that I get to go school shopping. I’m using back to school shopping as a great motivator for purging the old so I can make room for all their new must-haves, and I’m loving it. Anything with holes or worn spots is gone, anything that is outgrown or doesn’t fit quite right is donated, and anything that just isn’t getting the love that it should is passed down to someone who can truly appreciate it. Back to School Fruit of the LoomIn doing that, I have started from the top drawer and am working my way down. That means all those well worn, mismatched, and outgrown socks and undergarments are being purged first and I’m finding that we desperately need to restock before the new school year. Thank goodness Fruit of the Loom has us covered!

By offering seasonal bonus packs that include FREE underwear, t-shirts, socks, and undershirts in each pack, it maximizes your back to school dollars while making it easy to prepare for the school year ahead. The bonus packs come with three extra items in each package and are available in boys, girls and even in men’s and women’s {for those teens who have outgrown the children sizes}. Fruit of the Loom bonus sock packsIn Walmart stores nationwide, you will see displays like the one below advertising the 3 free garments in each pack as well as on the individual packs. Of course, you can also order online if you’re pressed for time.

3 free garments in each packRecently, we headed out to Walmart to start our school shopping and were pleased to find that in addition to supplies from the official school lists, they also had basics and fun pieces that would be perfect to start the school year off with. Since my kids have both gone through huge growth spurts and are growing out of their old socks and undershirts, this was a perfect time to load up while they could help me choose the styles they loved the most.

Seriously, have you ever seen a happier shopper? For socks of all things!Fruit of the Loom Display

After we had all the basics picked out, we headed over to shop for school supplies and found that they had everything on our list except the elusive pencil case {that apparently was in very high demand this year}, and even had a bunch of Frozen supplies that my kids went crazy over.
Frozen for Back to SchoolIn the end, we had a very full cart and some very happy kids hugging their back to school bags and school supplies. And, then when we got home and laid our haul out, they were crazy excited to help me wash it and organize everything so it’s all ready for the start of school.

Underwear for overachievers

  1. Clothes, clothes clothes! You buy some things at the beaning of the school year, but by Christmas, they’re already growing out of them! lol So, clothes are one school staple that we always need, throughout the year 🙂

  2. My daughter definitely needs to stock up on new panties and undershirt/bras. She has grown, like a weed, over the summer. I held off on getting her new undergarments till back-to-school shopping. Now she is truly in desperate need of new ones. Perfect timing. Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter.

  5. My son and daughter need socks for sure! I swear, the washer and dryer eat them right up! My son also needs underwear and jeans. My mom is taking care of the jeans though. She enjoys getting him new clothes for school. My daughter isn’t in school yet, but she still needs some leggings and long sleeve shirts for our chilly fall weather.
